Build A Bridge And Get Over It

I have found out something, Sports is a lot like life. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. How is that for deep? Yesterday there was a game played that featured the Seattle Seahawks and the Green Bay Packers. It was an amazing game, one might say a spectacle of enormous proportions. The game was won by Seattle on the last play of the game. It was a hail mary pass that was thrown into the end zone with nothing more that a prayer and a hope that it would be caught.

    N.F.L. Sports Kid!

David is an amazing kid when it comes to sports. He is Eleven years old and can name every Q.B. in the N.F.L. and the C.F.L. His predictions are uncanny and besides that he plays Q.B. for the Downtown Giants. He is not a New York Jets fan and is opinionated about Tebow as a quarterback. So tonight he picks New York over Dallas and in the upcoming Pittsburgh game he picks Pittsburgh over Denver. Colts vs. Bears

    Tim Tebow….The X factor

You may or may not know this but I am a big football fan. Recently, I have been thinking about players who impress me and Tim Tebow comes to mind. Here is a quote from Tim,

“Success comes in a lot of ways, but it doesn’t come with money and it doesn’t come with fame. It comes from having a meaning in your life, doing what you love and being passionate about what you do. That’s having a life of success. When you have the ability to do what you love, love what you do and have the ability to impact people. … That’s having a life of success. That’s what having a life of meaning is.”
How can you not like a guy with an attitude like that?

    Undefeated….but not under-rated

This is an amazing movie about a school football team in the poor section of Memphis. It is also about the devotion of a coach to his players. It is a story of inspiration, but more than that it is a story of the reality of what young people are subject to when they come from the inner city schools.

One of the lines in the documentary says, “football does not build character but it does reveal character.” The story is about young men who have the cards stacked against them simply because of what they were born into. The way out is not always easy but it is attainable. The coach of the team was is a father figure to many, a mentor and a lifeline to a better life.

Women in undies football league is it for you?

They call it football but lets call it what it really is another excuse to exploit women and sell sex for profit. The idea of women playing football in their underwear is the same as mud wrestling and roller derby . Why not sell it for what it is, a cheap way to exploit women in the disguise of a sport.
The idea that they are putting this league right in the middle of the Bible Belt of Canada, Abbotsford B.C. is a joke. This stands no chance of being financially successful.

    Was it Super for you?

So other than the fact that my Super Bowl party was a party of two it was a great day. The thing is if it is the right two it can be a great party. So what did I think over all? It was a great game and the right team won. My friend in New Zealand Graham Carter got the score right and I was not far off. I won my bet with Coach Mike in New York so its off to a great deli for lunch on him the next time I am in New York.

Canada and USA Differences, Which Football Rules Are More Legit?

Canada and USA Differences, Which Football Rules Are More Legit? I was sitting in the stadium in Seattle watching Monday Night Football and I started a conversation with the fellow sitting next to me. I asked him if he had heard of the Grey Cup? He said, “What?” I said the Grey Cup Canada’s super bowl. He said do Canadian’s play football? I shared about our B.C. Lions and explained the game of Canadian football to him and he said, [...]
