Do Ghosts and Spirits Exist? 

The wonderful area of Gastown, British Columbia is filled with lots of interesting history, store fronts, and foreign visitors – but could there also be ‘foreign’ visitors from another realm that call Gastown their home? It would be best to ask first whether one believes in ghosts or spirits and do they differ from one another?

We’ve all seen the numerous shows and movies, and even heard the occasional ghost story. Whether it be growing up huddled around camp fires to be scared to sleep or getting that tingling feeling that makes the tiny hairs on the back of your neck stand up, ghost stories fascinate so many people for some many reasons. The one thing that we gradually lose as we get older is our imagination and ghosts stories allow us a brief moment to reconnect with our imaginations once again, even though it may be in something we just can’t seem to understand or explain. It has been said by some that ghosts and spirits are just old spirits or souls of the departed that have unfinished business thus preventing them to cross-over to the other side. Scientifically, this is hypothesized by saying that those ghost spirits exist within our world because the frequency of the energy that they possesses isn’t tuned in for the frequency of the afterlife.
